SALES TAX
Only North Carolina residents must include all applicable state sales taxes. The appropriate amount will be automatically applied to North Carolina orders.

BLUE VELVET RETURN POLICY
Blue Velvet guarantees a 100% satisfactory shopping experience. We are proud to offer a Three week return policy on all our products. Defective products will be replaced with the same or equivalent product at no additional charge. For non-defective products you may receive a store credit or a refund for the price of your accepted return(s), provided they meet the following criteria.

All returned products must be unused. Clothes must be unworn with the original tags still attached. Books must be in original condition with unbroken spines and undamaged covers. We make no exceptions to these requirements. Due to health regulations we cannot accept returns on hosiery, novelties, and certain intimate lingerie.

We cannot accept returns on Sexy Costumes due to the timely nature of the Halloween season.

Please check the working condition and fabric quality of all products before use. We will not accept a return of any item, even a defective item that appears to have been used or washed.

To initiate a return, please call customer service or e-mail returns@bluevelvet.com within 21 days from the date of your invoice. Include your order id and the word “Return” in the subject line. Briefly explain what item you would like to return and why you wish to return it (e.g., defective, not what you expected). Indicate whether you are requesting a refund or store credit. We will reply to your e-mail with a return merchandise authorization number (“RA”) and further shipping instructions. Customers returning defective items will receive a pre-paid shipping label in a business envelope by U.S. mail. Shipping charges related to all other return shipments are the sole responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend you ship your return with a tracking number.

All returns must clearly display a valid RA issued by Blue Velvet and must be received at an authorized address within 21 days of our issuing the RA. We are not responsible for shipments sent to an unauthorized address, shipments that are lost, or shipments that do not clearly display a valid RA, and we are not obligated to issue any associated refunds or store credits. If you refuse delivery of an order that you have placed, a minimum of 25% will be deducted from any associated refund.

We reserve the right to deny the return of any product that is judged (at the sole discretion of Blue Velvet) not to meet the criteria outlined above or to have been deliberately damaged or damaged through misuse or poor shipment packaging.
